Book your solo trip, find a group or get matched with a well vetted group to join in a volunteer adventure!
 
Working in our schools in one of Africas largest slums, Kibera Kenya. We will be applying various skillsets to volunteer on a day to day basis.
 
Some of us will be doing manual work from laying bricks, to painting new classrooms and building furniture, while some of us will be dancing, teaching photography, technology, standard subjects and much more!
 
Stay at one of the continents Award Winning cultural traveler accomodations, Lebo's Soweto Backpackers (optional and recommended). 
 
Head out to the famous suburb Orlando West and get a unique experience. Get to know Soweto by walking the streets and learn the township lingo – Tsotsi Taal, join our tours – cycling or walking, play soccer with the locals and watch the big games.
 
Volunteer in one of our community projects and meet people that make development happen. Take a walk to museums, restaurants and shebeens. Visit the church and sing to the gospel tunes. Enjoy a delicious braai around the camp fire and dance to the local beats from drums and kwaito music.
 
Our team will settle down after a hard week of work by headed to the most beautiful Safari on the planet. The Masai Mara (or other great national park) where we will put our detective glasses on to find the BIG 5, amongst hundreds of other species.

The Full Itinerary
 
 
Departure from your home:
  • Begin iourney to Johanessburg 
  • Pick up by our drivers and brought to your accommodations.
 
Days 1-5:
  • We will picked up at 7am to volunteer in our school in Soweto.
  • Helping the school staff and educational staff with the children
  • Become engulfed in Nelson Mandela's childhood home and community.
  • Enjoy food and fun with our team and community.
 
Day 6
  • We will visit Lion Park & Elepant park to meet and interact with lions, elephants and monkeys.
 
Day 7-8:
  • We will be picked up by our safari drivers, taken on a 5 hour drive through scenic South Africa to the wonderful Kruger National Park.
 
Optional Additional Adventure:
Flight to the gorgeous Cape Town where we can arrange adventures like:
  • Swimming with Penguins at Boulder Beach.
  • Skydiving
  • Abseiling 
  • Cave Diving with Great White Sharks
  • Kloofing
  • Hiking the amazing Table Montain and Lions Head Mountain
