After building 4 schools in the last 2 years, we wanted to as much help with our project as possible from our friends that weren’t aware of the troubles people go through in impoverished communities.
We wanted to create affordable “voluntourism” opportunities that included a wide variety of philanthropy, cultural, and adventurous activities. We think it’s important for everyone to see how much love is shared between people in areas where they don’t have much else. It brings a sense of appreciation to our lives on an individual basis and teaches us more about ourselves. Our volunteers get to meet people that live in completely different circumstances, and the people we serve get to see what other opportunities are out in the world, so they can strive to be something great, and not limited to the lack of information that they receive by living in impoverished circumstances.

Kibera is Africa's largest slum. It is home to some 1 million residents living in the harshest form of poverty. Join us as our team travels to Kenya to uplift the next generation. When traveling with us, we stay at accomodations provided by our beautiful partnered hotel, Crown Plaza, in Nairobi. Each morning, we start the day with breakfast then our partnered drivers bring us to work in Mobjap Lower Primary School. Anyone can join us in becoming a volunteer & we even encourage them to share their favorite hobbies and crafts with the children we impact! Are you an artist? teach them art. Dancer? create a dance routine they can perform on the last day of the trip. No skill or hobby? Rest assured, you may assist teachers with day to day operations or help our construction team build new schools, and even new structures. The typical itinerary we create for our travelers includes working in our schools 4 full days, 1 day of visiting attractions like: meeting giraffes, and meeting/supporting baby orphan elephants, 2 days exploring a safari in the beautiful Masai Mara National Park and 1 much needed day of relaxation and reflection before we make the journey back home!

To Be Announced
Join us in exploring the wonders of Soweto, South Africa all while impacting those in need! With every stay, we offer accommodations at our Partner Backpackers, Lebo's Soweto Bike Adventures. Our itinerary includes a day of exploration in Johannesburg including a tour of Nelson Mandela's home and neighborhood. After this, we'll spend 5 days working in our local school, Thabaneng Lower Primary School, with our wonderful students! We're firm believers in a balance of work and play, so we'll then enjoy a wild adventure on our 2-day safari in Kruger National Park. Finally, we'll finish off the trip with a bang during our last 5 days! Here we'll enjoy the beautiful Cape Town with endless excursions such as bungee jumping, skydiving, diving with great white sharks, table mountain hikes, etc! You definitely don't want to miss this trip!
